Krisis's Cheese Spread (Korozott)

2 cups
Ingredients:

1 lb. Cream Cheese

1/3 lb. Butter
-
3/4 c Sour Cream

1/3 c green onions, chooped

1 Tbs Hungarian Paprika

1 Tbs Caraway seeds
-
1 Tbs Dijon Mustard
-
1/2 lb Cottage Cheese
-
1 Tbs Anchovy Paste
-
1 Tbs Capers

Process:

Bring cream cheese to room temperature.
Melt the butter.

Put all ingredients into food processor.
Blend well.

Krisi's Cheese Spread (Korozott)
This appetizer was served at the Pine Creek Cookchouse above the old ghost town of Ashcroft just outside Aspen, Colorado. You would arrive by skiing or horse-drawn sleigh in winter or by bike or hiking in summer.

TIPS:

Hollow out a boule or other loaf of fresh country bread as a serving bowl.
Sprinkle with chives and paprika for color.
